Tasmanian wool and Tasmanian made socks using my hand cranked circular sock machine. This is an excellent yarn for both durability, comfort and warmth.   This yarn is produced by White Gum Wool in Tasmania from the superfine merino wool from White Gum Wool sheep farm and spun in New Zealand.  These socks, once worn and worn and worn again, mended, and worn their final days out having had maximum usage and life, will biodegrade. This is a hand wash item. A natural quality of natural wool - odour resistance, means washing is not required as often as synthetic items or wool/synthetic blends. Superfine merino 70%, tussah silk 30%.

Mendable. I happily include a free length of yarn with your socks for mending when the time arises.
